Standard is about to be shook up a bit. We only have so many more cards to make new decks with or improve on older decks with, which is why I think the latter is where you want to start during a slight meta-shift. I’m under the belief that tokens is a strategy that will be heavily targeted because almost everyone will be scooping up the kool-aid and trying BW tokens. In fact I do think it’s a real strategy and you best be prepared for it. I wanted to use some of the stronger cards printed in the set (lands, token producers, and color fixing) to improve an already dominate strategy.
In the past one of ramps weaker matchups was any deck with counterspells. But what happens when you can cast into a counterspell and then recast your spell? Well the answer is you gain a card advantage. And this deck has countless card advantage spells.
I have to give credit where credit is due. One Mike Flores came up with a GRb Mulch Kessig deck not too long ago. That deck abused Mulch and Spider Spawning fairly heavily, and the idea here was to abuse Mulch as much as we can. Instead of Spider Spawning we opt for the new token producers and Unburial Rites which is a big reason why we are using two Elesh Norn’s.
This is the deck I’ll be playing with the start of our new standard. Tokens baby!

This is just the actual worst thing I've ever seen.
This is AMAZING!
Needs some tweaking and could definitely take advantage of surprised meta.
If that's not @jayboosh, I'd be very surprised.
Hey @Optimist - thanks for all the great suggestions earlier :-p
Ooooh....now it makes sense why it's so awesome.
Yeah I have a big tournament coming up in my area and this list looks pretty good.
why did you decide not to put sorin or garruk relentless in here?they both seem like they would go really well with a tokens deck strategy.Maybe even elspeth
Ray of Revelation would be a good addition.
I absolutely LOVE this deck, it just had a little bit of an issue dealing with Mono-Green. Could be a sideboard thing, but I think it has some insane promise for now.
I have been playing this deck alot and the real problem match seems to be tempered steel. Any advice on that matchup`?
I am a touch concerned about 11 out of the 26 land not turning on Rampant/Mulch. They can of course cast Sphere/Solemn, but my concern lingers. I guess the spells aren't, like, birds/elves, so it's different that way. I'd shift 1 each Swamp & Plains to duals in a heartbeat, is what I'm sayin', and look real hard at the second Swamp.
Mulch hits all lands, not just basics ;)
